First Words is provided by SkyGaze and works without an account, advertising, analytics, or a developer-operated cloud service.

Information used by the app

First Words stores alarms, preferences, affirmation selections, voice-intensity reference numbers, and completion history locally on your device. It does not save raw microphone recordings or speech transcripts.

Microphone and speech recognition

The microphone is used only when you start a spoken affirmation or voice calibration. Android's speech recognition service may process audio to recognize your words. Processing location, offline availability, and retention are controlled by the speech service installed on your device and its provider.

Notifications and alarms

The app uses alarm, notification, full-screen intent, foreground service, wake lock, vibration, and restart permissions to schedule and deliver alarms reliably. Alarm details needed before device unlock may be stored in Android device-protected storage.

Sharing and collection

First Words does not sell personal data, show ads, track users, or transmit app history to the developer. Opening this website or sending a support message may provide ordinary network and message information to the relevant hosting or email provider.

Deletion and control

First Words has no user account. You can remove saved records by deleting alarms, clearing the app's storage in Android Settings, or uninstalling the app.

Children and changes

The app is not directed specifically to children. This policy may be updated when the app's features or data practices change; the revision date will appear on this page.
